Challenge
At a large-scale event like the Farnborough International Airshow, exhibitors have only a few seconds to capture attention amid a constant stream of competing sights, sounds, and experiences. The challenge was to create a visually striking immersive animation that would attract attendees from across the exhibition floor and draw them into the GE Aerospace pavilion while highlighting the sophistication and engineering excellence of its flagship aircraft engines.
Solution
Rather than presenting the engines as static products, the animation transformed them into dynamic visual experiences. Key engine components and assemblies were revealed through cinematic movement, dramatic lighting, and carefully choreographed camera work designed to create a sense of scale, precision, and innovation. The content was developed to function both as a visual centerpiece and as an invitation, encouraging visitors to step inside the exhibit and learn more about the technology behind modern aviation.
AI Usage
No AI tools were used during any phase of this project. All concept development, modeling, scene design, animation, rendering, compositing, and finishing work were completed through traditional digital content creation workflows.
My Contribution
I was responsible for the complete production pipeline from concept through final delivery. This included creating all 3D models, building and lighting the scenes in 3ds Max, developing camera choreography and animation sequences, rendering the final imagery, and completing post-production, editing, and finishing in After Effects. The result was a polished immersive presentation designed specifically for a high-profile public exhibition environment.
Outcome
The final animation transformed highly engineered aerospace products into an engaging visual experience that captured attention from across the venue. By focusing on motion, detail, and cinematic presentation, the piece helped elevate the GE Aerospace presence at Farnborough and encouraged visitors to engage with the exhibit and its technology on a deeper level.
