Challenge
Urban air mobility is a new concept for most audiences. The challenge was to visualize what a typical air taxi journey might look and feel like from a passenger's perspective, transforming an abstract technology into a relatable, real-world experience. The goal was to help viewers understand not only the vehicle itself, but the entire end-to-end travel experience, from arrival and boarding through takeoff, flight, and destination arrival.
Solution
To bring this future vision to life, I created a fully realized cinematic environment centered around a young couple using an air taxi as part of their daily routine. The experience was designed to feel natural, accessible, and believable, illustrating each stage of the journey within a cohesive world. By combining detailed environments, realistic transportation infrastructure, and thoughtfully planned camera sequences, the project demonstrated how urban air mobility could integrate into everyday transportation networks.
AI Usage
No AI tools were used at any stage of this project. All concept development, design, modeling, scene construction, animation, rendering, and post-production work were created through traditional digital content creation workflows.
My Contribution
I was responsible for the complete production pipeline from concept to final delivery. This included environment design, 3D modeling, scene assembly, lighting, look development, camera animation, and cinematic sequencing within Unreal Engine. After rendering the final image sequences, I completed editing, compositing, and finishing work in After Effects to produce the final film.
Outcome
The final piece successfully translated an emerging transportation concept into a tangible human experience, allowing viewers to envision how air taxi services could function as a practical part of everyday life rather than a distant future technology.
